Travel Notes | Kelly Framel

Packing carry-on for a business/pleasure tour that floats you across multiple countries, with opposing climates takes a high degree of skill. My great friend Kelly has become a master of this over the years; taking only items that are light, easy to layer, wrinkle-resistant, can be worn multiple ways and obviously, transition from day-to-night. 

So, to say the least, I was thrilled that her Asia excursion included Primary's spring sheer trench, (and our caftan! additional colors coming soon) one of my personal favorites of our SS14 collection.

In Search Of... [ the soiree ]

Steven and I celebrated the launch of Primary's Fall/Winter collection with a film created, directed and produced by myself and Greg Swales. We collaborated with our favorite Vancouver store, Charlie and Lee ~ and threw a mid-summer soiree for our friends & family! 

Many thanks to Kleah, Josh, Vanessa and Makkida from Charlie and Lee for putting this all together. We had amazing cocktails from Bao Bei, wildflowers from Olla, yummy steamed buns from Harvest and homemade ice cream from Sunday Morning. ALSO ~ to Josh's friend that captured these moments, so major! Thanks! 

 I am very excited to premiere "in search of" our FW12 fashion film to New York, end of September ~ hope to see you there!

Primary fall/winter 2012 is hitting stores now, one of the first is Charlie and Lee in my hometown of Vancouver, BC ~ we had a great party over the weekend with them to celebrate our new collection, those photos coming soon!

On [Day 1] Kelly wore Primary Resort, we still have this gekko print, in our [cut-out blouse] and primary [snakeskin clutch in amber].
